Sometimes it is hard to tell whether a your broadband connection is broken or whether there's a problem with your browser. For a quick way to check this problem ...
Press Windows key and R together to launch 'RUN', then type cmd and hit Enter. Now in command prompt type "ping www.google.com" (no quotes) and press Enter. Windows will attempt to connect to the Google website. Now several lines appear starting with reply followed by 'Ping Statistics' for Google and 'Approximate round trip times', Check the Lost packets in Ping Statistics if it is 0% then your connection is fine.

If you face problem with your connection, Rt click on 'Local Area Connection' icon go to Status > Support > Repair.


Now this should be working fine.
